Scott Disick has finally checked into rehab following his partying spree to clean himself for the sake of getting joint custody of his kids with former girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. The news comes in close heels of Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband, being hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a Las Vegas brothel.
The father-of-three has checked into Cliffside Malibu, a luxurious drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, over the weekend after being warned by Kardashian family to get his act together if he wants to see his kids, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 10 months, again.
Contrary to the rumors that Disick was forced into rehab after reports emerged that Odom is fighting for life, the 32-year-old had checked himself into the facility well before the tragic incident and apparently does not even know about the former basketball player's condition.
"They don't want it to interfere with his progress," a source told People.
The source also added that Kourtney was fed up from Disick's drinking habit and was planning to seek sole physical custody for the welfare of her kids as his condition was creating "a poor environment for her kids to be raised in."
Meanwhile, Odom continues to remain unresponsive. He has suffered brain damage with at least one stroke and is on a ventilator apparently due to excessive drug usage while his partying spree in the brothel.
Khloe, along with sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, has rushed to be by Odom's bedside as the 31-year-old is still responsible to take important medical decision cocerning him owing to the fact that their divorce is not yet signed off by the judge, CNN reported.
