"Destiny" receives the patch 2.0.1, which will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The update will take up between 250 MB and 500 MB depending on the gamer's console. According to Play Station Lifestyle, the new patch will have a new system along with its in-game silver currency.
The 2.0.1 patch will see Lord Saladin return for Iron Banners and will bear new wares for the challengers. It will also see the return of Tess Everis from her vacation. Everis' booth will be given a facelift to replicate her new undertaking with the Eververse Trading Company.
As for the weapons, "Destiny" patch 2.01 will have the "Short Package" perks replaced by a non-range boosting perk. It will fix various issues that occurred in patch 2.0 such as random attack bonus with the Black spindle, the unprogressive rare sniper rifle and the problem with making the "Eye of the Storm" active, Computer Bild reported.
With this patch, players can now reroll stat nodes as well as upgrade nodes on exotic armor using the "Twist Fate" feature. The "Twist Fate" will include glimmer, armor materials and a glass needle that will be available weekly from Xur. Not only that, the new upgrade will also enable players to purchase their emblems and shaders from the shaders collection kiosk.
While the previous patch had hitches with the backup and force barrier on shotgun kills, 2.0.1 has fixed this issue.
The new patch also comes with another fix on the concern regarding "Air Traffic Control." With the 2.0.1, the smoke bombs used in the game will no longer cost two charges.
