Here's good news to all who loves the combination of animation and horror as "Resident Evil" is all set to have its animated movie slated to release in the year 2017. The movie that had Mila Jovovich as its main protagonist is being created by the Japanese studio Marza Animation Planet owned by Sega, Game Spot reported.
Written by "Psycho-Pass" Makoto Fukami and directed by "Hard Revenge, Milly's" Takanori Tsujimoto, this movie surely would get your nerve to the edge with its amazing animation effects. While the information is not all out, "Resident Evil" animated movie has the "Grudge" creator Takashi Shimizu connects with the upcoming title as an executive producer, according to Digital Spy. It is said that just by having Shimizu, "Resident Evil" enthusiasts can expect some real horror from this animated movie. The executive sponsor of this movie is Capcom's Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
This idea of animation is not a new one as it is followed by the "Resident Evil: Damnation" and 2008's "Resident Evil: Degeneration." Another movie titled "The Final Chapter" would hit the theatre around January 2017, wherein the movie's stuntwoman was badly injured but is now out of coma and will be back in tack shortly.
Meanwhile, the "Resident Evil" game is also in the news as HD remakes of "Resident Evil Zero" and "Resident Evil 2" is being worked by Capcom. While the news is doing rounds on the internet, there is a lot of innovation and efforts by all the people involved in this movie.
Hopefully, this animated movie will set the standards really high. But for now, we have to keep our eyes on the movie release.
