Leicester City (4-1-4, 16 points) is on the outside looking in at the league leaders as the team settles at the fifth spot in the 2015-2016 Premier League table. They will face Crystal Palace (5-4-0, 15 points), another top contender, at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, October 24.
The Foxes are fresh from a 2-2 deadlock against surging team Southampton, who defeated defending champions Chelsea in their previous match.
Striker Jamie Vardy had a brace in the second half to save the point for Claudio Ranieri's side in the game held at the St. Mary's Stadium last Saturday, as per The Guardian.
Saints' team captain José Fonte and defender Virgil van Dijk scored two goals in the first half of play to lift Southampton 2-0 until Vardy's heroics started at the 66th minute with the equalizing goal right at injury time.
Meanwhile, the Eagles were defeated by the surging West Ham United, 1-3, in their game at the Selhurst Park also last Saturday, via BBC Sport.
French midfielder Yohan Cabaye scored the lone goal for Palace with a penalty kick at the 25th minute after Hammers defender Carl Jenkinson put West Ham on top, 1-0, three minutes earlier.
Palace striker Dwight Gayle was sent off in the 44th after getting his second yellow card, which enabled the Irons to score two more late in the second half for the final count.
With both teams coming off disappointing games, expect a highly entertaining affair which the Foxes are projected to win.
The prediction is a 2-1 decision for Leicester City.
