PlayStation has released a holiday commercial on their YouTube channel featuring an all new trailer for the Star Wars Battlefront.
SCE and EA Games came up with a live-action Star Wars Battlefront commercial to promote the PS4 this holiday season and released it on the Playstation channel.
The trailer plays on the nostalgia of being a Star Wars fan from one's younger days and reminds us how boring adult life (specifically a desk job) is compared to the action and adventure we used to enjoy as kids.
It reminds us of the fun of living in the fantasy world of the "galaxy, far, far away" as our means of escape from reality.
And really, that's what PlayStation 4 is, a means to remain a kid at heart despite the problems and seriousness that come with being an adult. That's right kids, enjoy being young while you can 'coz your parents wish they have your life, you know?
The disclaimer says that the trailer shows footage that is "not actual gameplay," but it's effective enough to entice gamers to take notice of the product and buy it.
According to earlier promos from Game Spot, Star Wars Battlefront is set to include four expansion packs which can be purchased from the game's $50 DLC pass.
Earlier announcements also revealed that three modes for Star Wars Battlefront will debut in the game-Hero Hunt, Droid Run, and Cargo.
Star Wars Battlefront is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One, and PC on November 17 for North American players. Australia and Europe will get their hands on the product starting November 19.
