Meanwhile, Amy, Penny and Bernadette teach Stuart (Kevin Sussman) how to attract women to the comic book store. It turns out that Stuart is also interested in Amy. He expresses his interest in Amy while explaining what a "touch" is.

Barry Kripke and Stuart ask Amy out but Sheldon's former girlfriend turns down both of them. This may be good news to Sheldon although there is no indication that Amy still has feelings for him.

This is not the first time Bowie appeared in the CBS show. His character, a Caltech string theorist, appeared in "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 having a successful research paper, thanks to Amy's ideas on neuronal conductivity.

Bowie, who is a New York native actor according to 2Pararaphs, also starred in several TV series previously including "Newsreaders," "The Wrong Mans," "Chasing Life" and "Sofia the First."

Airing on Oct. 26, "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 6 titled "The Helium Insufficiency" will still feature Barry Kripke. The episode will also feature "Public Morals" actor Michael Rapaport as a guest actor playing a black market dealer named Kenny, Broadway World has learned.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 5 "The Perspiration Implementation" airs on Oct. 19, Monday, on CBS.
