"End of Watch" actress Corina Calderon has shared her thoughts on Jared Leto's performance as The Joker in David Ayer's forthcoming DC Comics film "Suicide Squad."
Calderon is playing the role of the character named Grace in Ayer's upcoming film. In her interview with HHB Media, the actress said that Leto as the Joker was just magnificent that she had been fascinated and definitely mesmerized. Calderon added that watching Leto had her sense of new freedom as an artist.
For Calderon, Leto had also served as an amazing mentor, for the actor had not realized that he had been teaching her.
According to Cinema Blend, Calderon's statement reverberates the other comments of Leto's co-stars. Previously, the actor had given rats, bullets, and cards to his co-actors and had revealed his wild filmic moves by saying that people would desire to have him put behind bars once Ayer's film hits theaters. Overall, these imply Leto's dedication to his role.
With the previous trailers, it is also assumed that Leto's The Joker would be a "Hannibal Lecter" in "Suicide Squad." Also, the trailers indicated that the film was set to give fans a foretaste on Joker's psyche, along with Harley Quinn's origins.
Aside from "Suicide Squad," Calderon is also set to be part of Mark Columbus' comedy "Chipster" and Jon Matthews' crime drama "Khali the Killer."
Along with Leto, "Suicide Squad" also stars Viola Davis, Common, Joel Kinnaman, Scott Eastwood, Jay Hernandez, Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Jai Courtney, Will Smith, and Margot Robbie, among others.
Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is set premiere in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016. Watch the official "Suicide Squad" Comic-Con trailer here:
