Last night Arsene Wenger did what no other manager has ever done. Long-serving Wenger after last night's stunning win over Bayern Munich became the first man to plot victories with two sides that have been managed by Pep Guardiola ( Barcelona and Bayern).

The 2-0 win which was achieved with just 30% just went to show that Arsenal just maybe are starting to learn how to win a football match in a different way than what they are used to. As good as that achievement was, Jose Mourinho I feel was determined to make last night about him.

The 51-year-old Mourinho who has been struggling this year with his Chelsea side hasn't helped himself with rants about everything and anything. First it was the Eva Carneiro incident, then there has been the countless criticisms of referees.

Yes, there have been so bad decisions, but a number of times that he has gone on TV and criticism of the match officials is boring. The reason why I say this is because, I just feel the Portuguese's words are losing meaning.

Of course, Mourinho won't concentrate on that too much, but his players are underperforming. Last night's Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev was a better performance, but I don't think Chelsea created too many clear chances.

Nemanja Matic did have an encouraging game, but ultimately I feel if Chelsea wants to progress in the latter stages of the tournament, then they have to win at places such as Kiev. On the grand scheme of things, a point isn't the worst result, especially since the Ukrainian side have been in good form domestically.

Instead of coming out of the press conference and congratulating his side on a good point, Jose just couldn't resist mocking Wenger. Jose, it's getting boring, you need to stop this vendetta against Arsene Wenger. If your team was winning maybe fair enough, but because they are slightly struggling it's best to stay quiet.

The 51-year-old Mourinho loves to engage in these games, I think that can't be changed, that makes Jose who he is. I am not sure if it's a tactic where he is trying to shift attention away from his players, but to put attention on himself? No Jose, just no don't do it.

I would have thought that Jose would have put attention on his players and say yeah this is a good point, Nemanja Matic played well, we are getting back to our best, but no he didn't.

He calls himself The Special One, and in the past he has done special things, but now though this is the time to rally his team, as they look to improve their fortunes domestically and in Europe.
