The gang wants to make a horror movie and it looks like they are attempting to make it something like "Paranormal Activity." However, they kill a man while filming as they believe he is a kidnapper.
According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Joe, Quagmire and Peter decide to make the horror movie after they watch a movie in the theaters. They believe that they have better skills to make a terrifying horror movie. They head to Quahog which has an abandoned asylum to film the movie.

"The guys visit an abandoned asylum, where they hope to come up with ideas for their horror movie, but instead wind up accidentally killing a man they mistakenly believe is holding them hostage. Feeling guilty, they each try to pin the murder on one of the others.
