Liz Keen (Megan Boone), who is currently on the run with FBI's most wanted criminal Raymond "Red" Reddington, will be in danger in the next episode of "The Blacklist" Season 3. The synopsis and promo video of "The Blacklist" Season 3, episode 5 titled "Arioch Cain" tease a cat-and-mouse-chase storyline as Liz continues to evade the people who are after her.
According to the upcoming episode's synopsis in a Hollywood Hills report, Liz's already awful situation will become worse because of an enormous bounty posted for the FBI Agent-turned-fugitive. The promo video of "The Blacklist" Season 3, episode 5 teases that a blacklister will be taking justice into his own hands.
FBI's tech expert Aram (Amir Arison) informs Mossad agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marnò) in the promo video that someone has placed a price on Agent Keen's head. Red will be protecting Liz at any cost because several worldwide assassins will come after her.
Aside from Red, the other person set to help in saving and protecting Liz is Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold). Tom was supposed to be starting a new life in Japan but he chose to come back as soon as he heard about what happened to Liz.
Will the FBI help and protect Liz Keen from her current situation? FBI Special Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) has declared in the promo video that they are not going to protect Liz because they are going to arrest her for killing Assistant Attorney General Tom Connolly (Reed Birney) in the finale episode of "The Blacklist" Season 2.
Meanwhile, another storyline expected to be further explored in the upcoming episode involves "The Blacklist" character Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq). In the new season's fourth episode titled "The Djinn," Red's aide named Vargas (Paul Reubens) has betrayed Dembe and shot him after they both escaped from the tortures of the mysterious new villain named Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi).
Red may be on the run with Liz but he also looks into Dembe's situation especially when his trusted and loyal bodyguard failed to show up in their rendezvous point. "The Blacklist" main cast member Hisham Tawfiq has described in a New York Daily News report that the Red-Dembe relationship is comparable to a father-and-son connection.
Tawfig further added that no one could ever get his character to betray Red. "The Blacklist" Season 3 is scheduled to return with episode 5 titled "Arioch Cain" on Thursday night, Oct. 29, at 9/8c on NBC.
