Microsoft has improved its Xbox beta app on Windows 10 with an indication towards social sharing features that will let the users bring more friends to the fun and games.
The beta version of Xbox app for Windows 10 could provide feedback from players on new features before they released to the general public. Microsoft has released handful of new features for the beta app, including some bolstered social sharing tools, according to PCWorld.
New features include a new Facebook friend finder that scans through user’s Facebook friends for any with Xbox Live accounts and allows them to add their friends as Xbox Live friends. the aim is to make it easier to find people to play with. All they need to do is go to the app’s settings and find the new Facebook icon, and link their Facebook account with their Xbox Live account.
In addition, voiceover recording functionality has been added to Game DVR, and the Store in the Xbox beta app will allow users to search for and purchase Xbox One games, including Games with Gold and Deals with Gold promotions, and Xbox One 25-digit codes will be redeemable within the app, PCMag reported.
Moreover, users who are part of Windows Insider Program and Xbox beta app participants will be able to plug in a headset and narrate their Windows 10 game clips with their voice. To do this, they can press Win + Alt + M. For microphone recordings for all gaming sessions, follow this: Game bar > Settings > Audio or Xbox beta app > Settings > Game DVR > Audio.
