The resurging Miami Dolphins (3-3) and undefeated New England Patriots (6-0) are set to face off in a crucial AFC East battle at the Gillette Stadium on Thursday, October 29 as the NFL 2015 season moves forward.
Miami made big plays to kick off their contest versus the Houston Texans on the way to a 44-26 romp at the Sun Life Stadium last Sunday, as reported by CBS Sports.
The Dolphins started the game with a 21-0 blast in the opening period before a 20-0 second quarter made it a humongous 41-0 count at halftime.
Ryan Tannehill was remarkable, throwing an almost perfect 18-of-19 for 282 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, and four sacks for a QBR of 94.2 and rating of 158.3.
Meanwhile, the defending Super Bowl champions maintained their unbeaten streak to start the season as they turned back the gritty challenge of the New York Jets, 30-23, also at their home stadium last Sunday, via New York Daily News.
Quarterback Tom Brady was also superb during the match, passing 34-of-54 for 355 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and three sacks for a 79.2 QBR and 94.3 rating.
His late touchdown pass to Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski sealed the game for New England.
Brady will once again rely on his talented wide receivers to pull off another scoring spree against Miami.
Prediction: Patriots win, 35-21.
