The Japanese developer giant Yu Suzuki has already confirmed his target of 30 frames per second for "Shenmue 3" PS4 version, but might be difficult to achieve.
Suzuki made this admission during an interview with DualShockers, "60 may be too difficult, but then I'm not really sure yet," he added. The Japanese developer also reported to presently test a technical environment called Unreal Engine 4, which has been selected for the said third instalment. UE4 has been chosen specifically for "Shenmue 3" based on the portrayal of shaders, colors, as well as its rendering engine, Newzy reported.
"They are near the image that I have envisioned for Shenmue 3's world. Unreal Engine 4 lets me portray what I believe about the smell and humidity of what the world must have. If they can see that event in the desert, they can feel the desert's dry air. I believe I can make those qualities of atmosphere and climate happen in real life through the Unreal Engine 4," Suzuki said.
In addition, a huge amount of control and plot information has been mentioned as well in his interview, VG247 reported. During the Sony E3 press forum held this year in LA, "Shenmue 3" is reportedly the Kickstarter project, as Suzuki describes this game to be the complete Shenmue experience that one has dreamed of.
This crowdfunding work was largely successful, which eventually collected $6,333,295. The game is rumored to be released date in 2017 for PS4 and PC.
"Shenmue 3" is a much awaited conclusion to the series, which began on Sega Dreamcast during the late 90's, following Ryo Hazuki on his search for the person who killed his father.
