"Final Fantasy XV" will have new details on more open world gameplay, battle effects on clothing and rumored PC version launch date for next year.
Game director Hajime Tabata explained new details regarding the current development of "Final Fantasy XV"as he revealed the reasons why Noctis and his friends wear black colored outfits within the game. Tabata stated that black clad outfits of the four main characters in "FFXV" are the official battled outfits in the Kingdom of Lucis. Noctis is member of the royal Lucis family and his friends Gladious, Prompto and Ignis are members of various Lucian organization in the game, IGN reported.
The color black in there clothes has a reach history in the Kingdom of Lucis as this color represents unity not just in the royal family, but its citizens living in it and Tabata added that clothes that character wears will not just have any aesthetic role in the game, but will influence the flow of the battle.
Aside from the battle outfits, Tabata revealed the reason for his decision to make "Final Fantasy XV" an open-world title. He explained that this is the current trend of the video game business and cited that with the current technology nowadays, game developers can now explore more opportunities to build up new features, create new places and challenges, GameZone reported
Square Enix is willing to strech past their comfort zone and the willingness to try something new for the audiences, making Final Fantasy memorable to them.
There are also rumors that the PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" will be in development and will launch sometime next year. PC users have signed a petition to Change.Org to have Square Enix make "FFXV" for the PC since they are using DirectX 11.
The current status of the petition has reached over 15 thousand signatures and with that mile stone achieved, Square Enix might be giving PC gamers what they have wished for soon.
Square Enix will announce the launch date for "Final Fantasy XV" at a special event in the Summer next year.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
