Developers Supermassive Games released "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" and makes the virtual reality game available for the PlayStation VR console.
The action horror game "Until Dawn" earned the title for being one of the top selling games in August, and fans have been speculating for its upcoming sequel, as reported by Gamerant.
Supermassive Games previously and immediately denied the rumours of a sequel but then officially announced the video game's existence and launch during the press conference of Sony's Paris Game Week 2015 as reported by Eurogamer. "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" will reportedly be released the following year.
The anticipated sequel is considered a virtual reality shooter experience where the player will be on a horror rollercoaster to shoot enemies from the earlier version of the game.
Additionally, the video game will allow players to live out the terrifying reality of one of the "Until Dawn" mentally ill characters. However, the developers have not released any information as to who that character would be. Those who have played the original installment may have their theories on whose perspective would be focused on in the upcoming sequel.
While "Until Dawn" was launched for PlayStation 4 users, its sequel "Rush of Blood" will only be supported by PlayStation VR. The second video game will also be available for PlayStation Move. However, Supermassive Games and Sony will only release the horror game exclusively for the two consoles and not for other Sony devices.
In line with the release of "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood," fans and previous players have also been expressing their sentiments towards the availability of the game in the latest Sony console.
Not only did the developers and Sony officially announce the existence of the "Until Dawn" sequel, the boss of Worldwide Studies also revealed the next installment's logo, giving fans and players an idea of what to expect for the awaited game.
