Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have officially broken up dismaying many of their fans who admired them. The couple was together for about four years before they broke the news of their split; however, there seems to be no antagonism between the two.
According to E! News, the two actually split a few months ago. The source added that Stone and Garfield still bear enough love for each other which keep them close still and on good terms.
On the other hand, in a story covered in April by People, followed by the uncertainty in their long-distance relationship the couple has decided to take a break. While it is a thing of past for the longtime sweethearts now, their love was evident to all when they were captured hand in hand on the streets of California and made appearances as a power couple at many Hollywood red carpet events.
Stone and Garfield have been extremely busy with their corresponding film shoots off late, with Garfield tied up with his new movie "Silence" in Taiwan directed by Martin Scorsese in the first-half of this year. Garfield's absence during the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards this year which marked the nomination of Stone as the Best Supporting Actress, that caught everyone's attention.
While the couple was still coping-up with their distance issues, they were last spotted spending time together in Los Angeles on Aug. 9 and in Venice, California prior to that which was in May.
