GTA 5 is celebrating Halloween with an additional in-game event. The developer company, Rockstar Games, recently announced "GTA Online: Halloween Surprise" that will see the launch of spooky items like cars, masks, and a slasher-themed adversary mode.

Just like the game's most recent update, Lowriders, the Halloween Surprise will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, according to Gamespot.

The new update will add two creepy new vehicles - Lurcher Hurse and Franken Stange. Furthermore, Rockstar has included 20 new "ghoulish" bobbleheads that can be incorporated to any new Lowrider car.

The Halloween will reportedly bring masks for Heists. Gamers will access the Heists in a new Halloween mask category in the Monsters section of Vespucci Movie Mask store. Similarly, the company has added 30 new spooky face paint options to help players celebrate the holiday.

"GTA Online: Halloween Surprise" event introduces a new "Slasher" adversary mode, which can sustain up to eight gamers.

An official description of the mode from Rockstar reads, "Run, hide, and fight to survive in the darkness as the player designated as the Slasher stalks their prey with a shotgun," it said. "Use your new flashlight to navigate if you dare, but be careful not to reveal your position or you'll quickly become prey. Survive for 3 minutes and you'll get the chance to return the favor with a shotgun of your own."
A previous report from the same publication indicated that Rockstar is concentrating on new-generation consoles and PC for future GTA 5 Online updates. As a result, it remains unclear as to whether Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of GTA 5 Online will get any further important content updates.

"GTA 5 Online: Halloween Surprise" event began yesterday, Oct. 29, and runs through Nov. 16.
