James Bond would be a terrible secret agent at present, according to secret agents.
A source in the intelligence group told Buzz Feed that Bond would probably have not been successful in joining the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), should he wish to apply. The source also said that his service he provided did not equate with the concept of teamwork, which was central to the SIS's power to disseminate information, thus, lone agents hardly achieved much.
For the source, the SIS was interested in people who have true concern for human relations, understanding others, and adapting with the complex nature of human connections.
According to Cinema Blend, the SIS referred to the MI6 in Britain. The publication mentioned that the MI6 in Sam Mendes' upcoming "Spectre" had established a new recruitment campaign, which aimed to acquire agents who were very much not like Bond. With this information, it is assumed that the agents in the screen do not mirror the intelligence officers in the modern period.
Meanwhile, Bond will be seen next in Mendes' "Spectre," which centers on the events following the MI6 bombing incident. Along with Craig, other members of the cast include Lea Seydoux as Madeleinde Swann, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Mallory, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Monica Belluci as Lucia Sciarra, and Christopher Waltz as Franz Oberhauser
With Mendes is set to pilot the film, Michael Wilson, Gregg Wilson, Wolfganf Ramml, Callum McDougall, Roberto Malerba, Barbara Broccoli, and Zkaria Alaoui are the film's co-producers. Robert Wade, Neal Purvis, John Logan, and Ian Fleming are set to pen the screenplay.
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures will distribute the film, with Eon Productions in charge of the production. A full trailer is assumed to be seen with "Jane Got a Gun" on Sept. 4.
Mendes' "Spectre" is set to hit theaters on Nov. 6.
