Windows 10's first major update, Threshold 2, will roll out this month.
Threshold 2 will arrive early this month, Techspot reported. It will be a collective upgrade through Windows update and is expected to run with minor prompting, as long as the users enable the automatic update.
With Windows 10 update, users will experience improvements. Although there has been no report for new features, the update is expected to bring solutions to various issues, Beta News reported.
Microsoft expert, Paul Thurrott, told the publicaion that the modifications are evident in an updated version of edge browser, which supports the software's features such as HTML5, CSS3, as well as the ECMAScript.
The Windows 10 update will enable start-up by simply typing the user's product key for their Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. If a product key cannot be used, a much-easier option is the digital entitlement. Cortana is also set for an upgrade and can be utilized along with the user's local account, without being asked for a Microsoft account. Calls and messages sync are also available as a movie tracking device; it is also set to power down automatically when the computer is not in use.
Threshold 2 will also make the shaded title bar selection optional and sway, a media creation tool, will also be combined with Skype. SD card storage is re-enabled to allow for larger storage selections for devices that come with small-sized storage. Find My Device Option uses GPS, as well as position services that will enable users to track their device and display background of Windows 10 on login screen will be optional.
