Meanwhile, the country ranks fifth worldwide preceded by the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and the United States, according to the Wealth-X and UBS World Ultra Wealth Report that was published on Nov. 19.

The report says that, as of June 2014, 11,070 individuals in mainland China had a net asset valued at least $30 million. As many as 395 were added to the number within the previous year.

The individuals' total net worth increased by 3.3 percent up to $1.6 trillion, according to the report.

However, China's slow economy hinders the growth rate as Asia's average rate is 5.8 percent, which is nearly half of the worldwide average of 7 percent.

The Chinese mainland's super-rich has an average age of 53, making it the country with youngest millionaires. The world average is 59 years old.

Fifteen percent of the mainland's super-rich is comprised of women who hold 12 percent of the overall wealth. The average net worth of Chinese females is $114 million, while that of males is $146 million.

According to the report, the super-rich of China are still in the early phases of the wealth creation cycle as self-made millionaires make up 91 percent of the list.

The report adds that the super-rich Chinese individuals are taking advantage of China's massive consumer market. However, many are deciding to seek business opportunities outside the country.

The mainland's wealthiest hold 7.3 percent of the middle class' overall wealth, which is lower compared to the world's super-rich population who holds 12.8 percent of the global wealth.

Meanwhile, 12,040 new super-rich individuals were added from July 2013 to June 2014, increasing the global wealthy population to a peak of 211,275. The report says that total wealth of the global wealthy population amounts to $30 trillion.

The report predicts that the numbers will increase to more than 250,000 in the coming five years, with the overall wealth exceeding $40 trillion. Additionally, it also forecasts that Europe will be overtaken by Asia in terms of the quickest growth in wealth within 10 years.
