Know Your Mobile noted that various reports stated that One M8 would receive Android 6.0 update soon.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update For LG Phones
According to Know Your Mobile, LG G4 will be the first smartphone to get the Android Marshmallow OS. The upgrade will be made available to LG G4 users in Poland and next week other zones in Europe, Americas and Asia will receive the Android M update.
Rumors had it that LG G Flex 2 will also get the Android Marshmallow upgrade.

Sony has revealed that the Android phones will get the latest OS upgrade, however the official timeline has not been revealed as of now.
