Sam Mendes' upcoming action thriller film "Spectre" is predicted to do well in the box office once it hits theaters.
As of Nov. 3, Mendes' "Spectre" has got a rating of 68 percent in Rotten Tomatoes' tomatometer, in addition to its 54 reviews, which is subdivided into 36 fresh reviews and 18 rotten reviews. According to the website, "Spectre" pushes Daniel Craig's version of James Bond in alignment with the magnificent and action-packed sights of its predecessors; however, it was contingent on the "007 formula."
Bond is comparable to a superhero character in a real human main character, which makes his cinematic universe superb, as per Cinema Blend. While the iconic spy had no superpowers, he does not age and he just reappears with new characters, which was "refreshing." Just like the Marvel and DC Universes, Bond has established his own universe in the big screen, as indicated by Cinema Blend.
Mendes' "Spectre" centers on the events following the MI6 bombing incident. The members of the cast include Lea Seydoux as Madeleinde Swann, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Mallory, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Monica Belluci as Lucia Sciarra, Christopher Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, and Craig as super spy 007 Bond, among others.
With Mendes set to pilot the film, Michael Wilson, Gregg Wilson, Wolfganf Ramml, Callum McDougall, Roberto Malerba, Barbara Broccoli, and Zkaria Alaoui are the film's co-producers. Robert Wade, Neal Purvis, John Logan, and Ian Fleming are set to pen the screenplay.
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures will distribute the film, with Eon Productions in charge of the production. A full trailer is assumed to be seen with "Jane Got a Gun" on Sept. 4.
Mendes' "Spectre" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Nov. 6.
