Other than attending a plethora of WWE live events, diehard wrestling fans put a considerable amount of time online for many reasons, among those are having the power to peek into the lives of these larger-than-life superstars and know their personalities away from the bright lights.
In today's issue, highlights and lowlights include: Randy Orton's injury, Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Goldberg, and many more.
As always, the WWE Universe should take all of these with a grain of salt.
Randy Orton Sidelined with a Shoulder Injury
It seems like Randy Orton will be on the shelf for a little longer than expected as he reportedly suffered a dislocated shoulder. The Viper's MRI revealed he has a Bankart lesion in this shoulder, a partially torn rotator cuff, and some stretched ligaments.
According to WWE physician Dr. Steve Daquino, "At this point it's a matter of when he dislocates the shoulder again, and not if. Surgery seems imminent, and recovery time for such as surgery would be four to six months."
Randy Orton last competed with Dean Ambrose on the October 12 episode of Monday Night RAW against the WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Day.
Alberto Del Rio's Fat Paycheck a Hoax?
Just a while back, Dave Meltzer reported that Alberto Del Rio's contract with the WWE stretches to a whopping $1.4 million. However, the company was quick to deny the claim, saying that the downside guarantee of Del Rio was only a third of the said deal.
On the other hand, a handful of credible sources behind the curtains are stating that the original number is right, or at the very least, more than one-third of it.
Bottom line, the current WWE United States Champion is getting a good deal coming back to the company.
Quick Fire News
Stone Cold Steve Austin left a small glimmer of hope at the possibility of lacing up his boots once again. Conversely, Bill Goldberg said not long ago that if he ever came back, he'd like to face the Rattlesnake in a match.
Natalya looks like she's taking her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training seriously. The WWE Diva briefly shared her experience rolling with UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey and the rest of The Four Horsewomen on her Instagram account.
When he's in between training sessions with controversial Diva Eva Marie, Brian Kendrick is contemplating a wrestling comeback. Kendrick is - apparently - open to competing in NXT if and when the time is right.
