The St. Louis Rams (4-3) will look to extend their two-game winning run on Sunday, November 8th as they visit the tough Minnesota Vikings (5-2), who are also undefeated in their last three games, at the TCF Bank Stadium for a 2015 NFL Season Week 9 matchup.
St. Louis hammered the San Francisco 49ers, 27-6, during their most recent home game at the Edward Jones Dome last Sunday as running back Todd Gurley continues to be in top form, as reported by the Boston Herald.
Gurley, a 21-year-old rookie from Georgia and the 10th overall pick of this year's draft, rushed for 133 yards in 20 carries with one touchdown to lead the Rams' running game.
Meanwhile, the Vikings escaped with a 23-20 win at the Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears also last Sunday courtesy of a last-second field goal by kicker Blair Walsh, as per Yahoo Sports.
It was a rare Windy City triumph for Minnesota as former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson rushed for 103 yards in 20 carries during the game.
This is the first time these two generational running backs will meet this season and odds are in favor of the veteran Peterson and his Viking crew.
Prediction: Vikings win, 24-21.
