"Rock Band 4" developer Harmonix announced that it will release updates in order to ease up the process of migrating contents from previous versions of the game to the next-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Before the update, gamers have to manually search for individual songs from their previously downloaded content in order to be ported to the new game. This time consuming and relatively cumbersome process is due to some hardware limitations and not entirely the fault of Harmonix.
In order to remedy this, Harmonix released an update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
"Rock Band 4" players on the Xbox One console can now download previously downloaded bundles directly into their hardware. This eliminates the process of downloading each individual tracks. "Rock Band 4" gamers can simply access Xbox Store and search for the bundle name and download it.
According to Shack News, the search feature is not yet fully fixed as it still has some issues regarding pricing. In some cases, previously purchased bundles will still appear unpurchased on the Xbox Store. Harmonix is advising gamers to temporarily exit the screen if that happens while it is still working on a workaround to fix the issue.
For the PlayStation 4 crowd, Harmonix has acknowledged the ongoing issue about the "No Content Found" error message that many gamers are reporting. Harmonix said that whoever experiences this problem only need to press the PS button twice in order to refresh the My Downloads screen. For gamers not being to access their in-game tracks, they are advised to double check their Library and make sure that everything is properly installed on the My Add-Ons screen.
Harmonix recently released a new "Rock Band 4" DLC that includes three new songs, according to Geek Snack.
