For many critics and fans of the video game series, the finale episode was able to pull one of the most emotional sequences in the series. It also presents major surprises based on the decisions made by the player since the beginning of the series.

"Tales from the Borderlands Episode Five" was released on Oct 20 for the Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platform. It was released on Oct. 21 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One console. Finally, it was released for the Android and iOS operating system on Oct. 22.
