"Extant" actress Halle Berry, 49, recently had an interview with "Extra," in which she is doing fine with her divorce filing still fresh. The week before Halloween, she and her third husband Olivier Martinez, 49, filed for divorce after almost two years of marriage.
"I'm doing okay," Berry told "Extra" on Nov. 4 at the "Imagine" fundraising gala of the Entertainment Industry Foundation that benefit organizations including a Berry's favorite, the Jenesse Center, which helps women and children who are domestic violence victims.
Berry added that she keeps pushing and she was really happy to in the fundraising gala. She explained, "When you're going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and you focus on others, that's always the best remedy for any situation that you'd rather not be dealing with."
On Oct. 5, 2013, Berry gave birth to Maceo Robert Martinez, her son with the French actor who plays President Gen. Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna in "Texas Rising."
A day before the "Imagine" fundraising gala, Berry hit the red carpet of "Spectre," which hit theaters in the United States on Nov. 6. Directed by Sam Mendes, "Spectre" stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser, Lea Seydoux as Madeliene Swann, Monica Belucci as Lucia, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Dave Bautista as Hinx, Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q and Andrew Scott as C.
On the other hand, the last film Berry starred in was the 2014 Hugh Jackman starrer "X-Men: Days of Future Past," in which she played Storm. In 2016, the "Extant" actress will star in "Kidnap" opposite Lew Temple and Kristin McKenzie.
