Justin Bieber sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and shared what songs in his album were inspired by ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

With Ellen's help, Bieber said that "What Do You Mean?," "Sorry," and "Mark My Words" were probably the three songs that were for Gomez.

The young stars dated for two years and both recognize that they were each other's first love. The two broke up on October 2014, according to Glamour Magazine.

The 21-year-old singer admitted that he is still in contact with Gomez and he would never stop loving her nor will he stop checking in on her.

Ellen asked him how it was breaking up with the 23-year-old singer. Bieber said that it was tough. He added that there are a lot of things that remind him of her.

When asked if there's a possibility if the two could get back together, Bieber responded with a curt "maybe." The singer said that they have a long history together so it's a possibility.

Right now he said that they're on their own individual journeys and maybe when they have figured themselves out they could come together and be an "awesome duo."

Bieber also left room for another possibility that two of them could end up with other people. He said that all he really wants is for Gomez to be happy.

Bieber then sang an acoustic version of "Sorry" for Ellen which she shared on her Ellen Tube channel.

The singer revealed in another interview that he wrote a song "If I Would Have Met You in 5 Years" that didn't make the album, which pretty much sums up what could've happened between him and Gomez.
