Inspite of "James Bond" actor Daniel Craig's negativity about starring in another "007" movie, producers have revealed that they are confident that the star will return for another installment of the franchise, even though he is yet to sign a contract.
According to The Sunday Mirror, Craig has made himself available to appear in another "James Bond" movie. Producer Micheal G. Wilson confirmed to the media that they have secured Craig for another three years and what remains is for him to sign a contract.
"We think we've got him but we don't have a contract," Wilson told the British publication. He has worked with Craig since "Casino Royale".
A source quoted by the publication said Craig's success as the "Bond" hero has meant that producers will do everything possible to retain him for another movie. The source added, "directors know they would be daft to replace him at a stage where he is so popular. It's almost certain he will do one more outing as Bond."
Wilson's claims of bagging Craig for another movie, come just days after the cast of "Spectre" appeared in New York to promote the movie. The film garnered more than $60 million during its launch in the United Kingdom last month, according to the Daily Mail.
Craig won rave reviews for his performance in his first film "Casino Royale." The actor who is married to "Constantine" star Rachel Weisz took over from Pierce Brosnan as the "Bond" character in 2006.
"Spectre," which is the 24th installment, will be screened in cinemas in the United States on Nov. 15 with many critics already giving the film positive reviews.
