In the end, Roman Reigns won handily and advanced to the next phase.

Match #2: Titus O'Neil vs. Kevin Owens

The second match saw Titus O'Neil go up against Kevin Owens.

Before the start of the match, the WWE Intercontinental Champion did some superb mic work to get the fans going.

Kevin Owens dominated majority of contest; finishing one-half of The Primetime Players with a Pop-up Powerbomb.

Match #3: Becky Lynch vs. Paige

A lot of bad blood flowed throughout this Divas battle between Becky Lynch and her former Team PCB ally Paige.

The Lass Kicker scored an upset after pinning Paige with a handful of tights.

A pissed off Paige assaulted Becky Lynch afterwards, and applied the PTO on the announce table before Charlotte swooped in to save the day.

Match #4: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

Two former WWE champions collided in the next match as Dolph Ziggler and The Miz looked to go up the ranks and reclaim gold.

Both competitors gave it all they got inside the ring, with Ziggler getting the best of it following a Superkick.

Dolph Ziggler raised the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after the match to the delight of the raucous fans inside the Manchester Arena.

Match #5: Natalya vs. Naomi

Natalya went all by herself when she faced Naomi who was flanked by her Team B.A.D.

Despite the numbers disadvantage, and amidst the constant "we want Sasha" chants, Nattie got the much-deserved win.

However, it was after the match where Natalya encountered her biggest problem as the other Team B.A.D. members ganged up on her before Sasha synched in her patented Banks Statement.

Match #6: Cesaro vs. Sheamus

A couple of European powerhouses in Cesaro and Sheamus clashed in the fourth match of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament.

The Swiss Superman and The Money in the Bank briefcase contract holder didn't hold back with their strikes. But Sheamus' current tag team partner King Barrett proved to be too much of a distraction as football great Wayne Rooney smacked his royalty across the face.

This helped Cesaro advance to the second round of the tourney.

Match #7: Dean Ambrose vs. Tyler Breeze

Dean Ambrose welcomed former NXT Superstar Tyler Breeze to RAW for another first round match.

Both contenders put on an impressive show in front of the WWE Universe in London with Breeze and Ambrose going all out.

Tyler Breeze's momentum was cut short, after Dean Ambrose picked up the win via a small package.

Match #8: The Usos and Neville vs. The New Day

Hometown favorite Neville teamed up with the returning Usos to take on The New Day in this six-man tag match.

The crowd was really into this match as all six Superstars showcased why they deserve to be on the spotlight.

The New Day had their hands raised once the smoke cleared, after Neville's failed Red Arrow attempt and Xavier Woods' crafty pin.
