Suresh Gupta, an affiliate of GameKlan, states that "Red Redemptions" developer, Rockstar Games, has planned to refer to the up and coming game of the franchise by the name "Red Dead Revolution." The game will evolve around the history of Jack, who is prospected to play as the protagonist. Additionally, the game is going to get featured on current generation consoles like Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

For the first time, "Red Dead Redemption" is also expected to feature a multiplayer co-op that will specifically focus on the sequel as revealed by a NeoGAF user.

At the moment, hearsays indicate that Rockstar Games is developing two new games, that is, "Red Dead Redemption" and "Grand Theft Auto 6." Nevertheless, the two games are said to be of the same franchise.

According to Cross Map, Zelnick confirmed the news saying that "I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that 'GTA' is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that 'Red Dead' is a permanent franchise, again with the same caveat, or Borderlands, for example, and NBA and others."

A reliable source claims that the game previously appeared on a Microsoft database that encompassed a project for determining its compatibility with various operating systems, which further confirmed that it may be in its final stages of development.

"Red Dead Redemption" fans can only hope that the rumor is true to receive their most awaited game by the end 2016.
