Rumors say Supercell has scheduled the new Clash of Clans update for an early December 2015 release date but no one really knows when the fresh COC content expansion is actually touching down. While a new report is giving an exact date, it is offering two solid signs that will tell the upgrade rollout is imminent.
Sneak Peeks
COC-focused AllClash.com claims that in previous content updates for Clash of Clans, Supercell shifts into a so-called preparation mode. The first sign that Clashers need to watch for is the deployment of Sneak Peeks or preview of the feature upgrades to come.
Indeed this has been indicated during the October ClashCon, in which the COC maker hinted that the biggest expansion of the game will be provided soon and prior to the actual update there will be Sneak Peeks. Supercell, however, withheld the details on time of arrival.
But going by the previous Clash of Clans game updates, Sneak Peeks were issued at least one week before rolling out the new features, AllClash said on its report, which indicates that the promised game previews last October will be seen in the last week of November. That is if speculations that the TH11-bannered COC update will happen in early December are accurate.
Maintenance Break
AllClash also reported that Supercell's update pattern will tell that on the day that the game upgrade is released, the Clash of Clans closes down for about five minutes and one indicator is the disabling of attacks on bases. This is called Maintenance Break.
The process basically involves server adjustments that normally occur when maintenance is required or big changes are to be implemented. So it is certain that once Supercell is all set to release the next COC update, gamers will witness a Maintenance Break and minutes after that the new contents will be readily available.
And when the Clash of Clans update release date happens, the same report reminds that it's best for COC fans to be among the first to taste the upgrade and take advantage of the Golden Hour, in which millions of loot are for the taking in the initial hours following the content expansion.
