"TFI Friday" host Chris Evans has expressed negative remarks about Simon Cowell as the Top Gear Host watched "The X Factor" and witnessed Nick Grimshaw replace Louis Walsh as a judge.
In a Twitter post, the 49-year-old English presenter noted how "weird and nervous" Cowell seemed to be as a judge in the "The X Factor."
Cowell is the creator of the reality music contest "The X Factor" in which he has also served as a judge to for several seasons, both in the United Kingdom and the United States versions.
More importantly, Cowell was responsible for acquiring Grimshaw to be a judge in the latest season of the popular reality show, according to Mirror Online. The problem with the deal was that Grimshaw was already poised to host several episodes of "TFI Friday."
Despite the snide comments Evans gave to Cowell, the "Top Gear" host seemed appreciative of Grimshaw acting as the judge for the 12th season of "The X Factor."
For Evans, the 31-year-old Grimshaw appeared to be knowledgeable about properly assessing the performance of various contestants, even if reality show has been having alarmingly low ratings.
Grimshaw actually wanted to be in the entertainment show "TFI Friday" but noted that Evans was more than enough to keep the show thriving, according to Daily Mail Online.
Even if Grimshaw did not accept the offer by "TFI Friday," Evans wants him to know that he would always be welcome to the Channel 4 show.
Moreover, the new "The X Factor" judge said that "TFI Friday" influenced him to want to be on television in the first place.
In other news, Cowell saved Mason Noise instead of Seann Miley Moore during the recent "The X Factor" episode. Fans were disappointed at the television producer's decision since Noise was unable to hit the proper notes when he sang "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men.
