Tamar Braxton has decided to quit "Dancing with the Stars" after it was revealed that she had a blood clot in her lungs. The reality star and singer was quickly rushed to the hospital on Monday before the big announcement.
According to reports, Tamar Braxton was suffering from pneumonia for the past several weeks. It is said the pneumonia is probably the cause behind the blood clot, something that has yet to be confirmed by Braxton or anyone in her camp.
The star recently released an Instagram photo of her in a hospital bed alongside "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
The 38-year-old R&B singer who is the youngest sister of the superstar, Toni Braxton, stated on Instagram that her health condition is quite serious. She also confirmed to her fans that the blood clot has been located at both sides of her lungs.
"With a Heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has to come to an end along with the rest of my tour dates with @musicbykem," according to Tamar Braxton via her Instagram page.
Several fans on Instagram have shown support for Braxton during this time of her distress, with some even hoping she would pull through quickly in order to return to the show before it ends. However, that won't be happening, so Tamar Braxton may have to go back for another shot in 2016.
So far, Braxton is the second contestant to drop out of the show during the current season. The first was Kim Zolciak, a woman who was unable to perform due to travel issues and also because she suffered a stroke.
What's next for Tamar Braxton? Well, after recovering, the star will return to her regular reality TV and R&B singing career.
