Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 2,000th episode on Thursday and had some surprise guests show up to celebrate with her. Jennifer Aniston showed up to help her celebrate and brought her a gift. She brought her an exact replica of the welcome mat that she brought DeGeneres on her visit to the very first show.
According to Entertainment Weekly on Nov. 12, another surprise guest showed up to help DeGeneres celebrate the milestone episode. Justin Timberlake came on the show and he was her guest on her second show she ever had.
USA Today reports that everyone always has a hard time keeping secrets from DeGeneres but they actually did it this time. Even her wife has a hard time keeping things from her. However, those behind the scenes of her show kept the surprise guests a secret and no one said a word. When she said she wanted to go play ping pong, they told her she had to stay in her dressing room.
When Aniston showed up, she had this to say,
Do you know how hard it is to surprise this person?
She also said,
I think it's time to sorta bring sexy back!
And with that cue, in walked Justin Timberlake. Like mentioned above, he was a guest on her very second show.
Talking about keeping secrets from DeGeneres, Ellen had this to say about it,
It always somehow leaks out, somebody tells me something.
However, everyone was very successful in keeping these secrets from her about her surprise guests because she never did find out until they walked out on the stage and surprised her.
