Celebrities on Instagram were attacked by a fake Amanda Bynes account with the username "Amandabynesfashion." The impostor's account was shut down after Amanda Bynes' lawyer asked Instagram to take down the malicious fake Instagram account.

The fake account posted tweets attacking celebrities, one of which was accused of having a sexually transmitted disease (STD) without any proof and another celeb of possessing a small male genitalia, according to entertainment news site TMZ.com.

After being subject to the fake account's posts, a celeb's lawyer contacted the former Nickelodeon star's lawyer to confront about the malicious accusations on Twitter. The 28-year-old actress's lawyer then proved that Amanda Bynes was not the one posting or managing the Amandabynesfashion account on Instagram. Byne's lawyer then proceeded to contact Instagram to shut down the fake account.

The fake Instagram account was first reported to be Amanda Bynes' in June 2014 by celebrity news site Enstarz.com. The site reported that the Amandabynesfashion account posted pictures of the celebrity looking better and with her family.

However, after the account was shut down, Bynes is actually posting tweets against her own parents on her Twitter account. The celeb was recently released from being held in a mental institution for over two weeks after her mother put the actress there due to a mental disorder.

Bynes went on to rant on her Twitter account about how greedy  her father is and how he wants to take her money for his own benefit. The actress also said that her father is a "sexual predator" and that "he belongs in jail."
