Barbara is the center of the storyline of "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8 is entitled "Tonight's The Night." According to Flickering Myth, Episode 8 was "Barbara centric," as the character spent a huge amount of screen time in a wedding gown controlling other characters.
Episode 8 saw Theo Galavan allow Barbara kill James Gordon and offered Bruce Wayne a proposal. Wayne turned his position in Wayne Enterpriss to Galavan while the latter let Wayne know about who killed his parents and who to blame.
Barbara went to GCPD and Gordon suggested putting his life at risk to get more knowledge about Galavan. A squad car was on its way to a certain place, as per Barbara's instructions, but was ambushed by Tabitha Galavan and her team.
Gordon saw himself in Gotham Church, where he and Barbara were going to have their wedding prior to their break-up. With Harvey Bullock's help, the Strike Force found where Gordon is. Gordon fought Barbara as the Strike Force took on Tabitha's crew. Barbara was hung outside the church and fell, leading to injuries.
Episode 8 also saw GCPD rescue Aubrey James. Wayne also refused Theo's proposal as Gordon arrived and captured Theo, with the latter leaving them no evidence on who killed the Waynes. Edward Nygma also saw Penguin, who was injured and tired, asking him for help.
Meanwhile, Gordon is set to encounter one of the most dangerous hitmen in Gotham in "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 9, entitled "A Bitter Pill To Swallow." According to Spoilers Guide, Episode 9 would see Gordon meet Eduardo Flamingo, as the former and Captain Nathaniel Barnes push on cleaning up Gotham.
Nygma and Penguin would meet again while Wayne would taunt Galavan into revealing his parents' killer.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 8, "Tonight's The Night," aired on Nov. 9 while Episode 9, "A Bitter Pill To Swallow" airs on Nov. 15.
