"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" received a new PC patch update and it was ready for download.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is 2015's most anticipated first-person shooter from Activision. A new PC patch update was dropped over the weekend with a goal of enhancing the PC performance of the game. The new update reportedly includes bug fixes, the zombies mode and performance improvements for the PC version of the game.
The updated patch file size is 520MB, but not yet advertised at game developer Treyarch page and "Call of Duty's" general community channels.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" launched on PC with several issues including bugs, lackluster performance and crashes to desktop. It was the first Call of Duty game from Treyarch Studios launching simultaneously for current generation and PC. While the PC version had its fair share of issues, the consoles version of the game were also rather lackluster and inconsistent in term of performance, which was a huge step back from "Advanced Warfare."
The PC patch update follows the Game Settings Update for PC, PS4 and Xbox One patch, according to VG 24/7. It comprises of the following: change of spawn locations in Free for All and Gun Game, fixed anti-up issue in Arena mode, fixed issues with some challenges, increased the amount of score earned in Search & Destroy as well as XP earned per kill (from 250 to 500), and Solo games in Zombies mode should no longer be joinable.
Aside from the collection of fixes, the game comprises of changes that include fixes to Medals and Challenges, fixes an out-of-bounds exploit and Arena Capture the Flag changes, Gotta Be Mobile reported. In addition, there are "Black Ops III" Weapons tuning changes as well.
