‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Rumors, Speculations and Update: ‘GTA 6’ Expected To Be Released on 2018; What’s The Latest of ‘Grand Theft Auto’s’ Next Franchise?

A leak shows that in "Grand Theft Auto," Eva Mendes will play the female lead character, along with Ryan Gosling, in the next "GTA" franchise. This was a previous clue by Rockstar's co-founder in the next GTAs.

As what Reddit's VermillionDemonFox says, the soon-to-be-seen "GTA 6" will include a unique and interesting map, while in the recent leaks, "GTA 6" will have all "GTA" maps combined in one consistent world map. The leak shows that San Adreas will be visible in the southwest area with Las Venturas in the San Andreas territory. Also taking San Francisco's place is San Fiero near the northern San Andres.

On the east side of Las Venturas is Vice City, which is the setting of most games in GTAs franchise. Liberty City is located on the north of Vice City, which is also well-known in the franchise.

The leak may be baseless, as proofs stated by Rockstar producer Leslie Benzies in 2012 showed how they want the map conceptualized for gamers to visit the main cities of the game. She mentioned to Digital Trends that, in some point, they would like to have one big world containing all the cities, and let each gamer fly between them and revisit their favourite cities.

The consoles are turning out more powerful with various features, making the game grow bigger and better. One alternative that game developers deal with these features are by releasing massive maps and providing better visual quality with quicker frame rates.

The next franchise of "GTA" is still under development now, but speculations said that it will be released by 2018 the earliest.
