Contending squad Valencia CF (5-3-3, 18 points) will look to extend its two-game winning run as it takes on bottom three team UD Las Palmas (2-6-3, 9 points) at the Mestalla Stadium on Saturday for a 2015-2016 La Liga season matchup.

Valencia had won four of its last six outings to move up to the solo seventh spot in the league table after 11 weeks of competitions.

Los Che's last game was an impressive 5-1 victory over top-four club Celta Vigo at the latter's Estadio Municipal de Balaídos on November 7th as striker Paco Alcácer and team captain Dani Parejo both pulled off a brace, via ESPN.

Alcácer drew first blood at the 13th minute, but the score was immediately equalized by Celtics captain Augusto Fernández 11 minutes later. However, Parejo scored one right at the halftime break to give Nuno Espírito Santo's squad the upper hand at the break, 2-1.

It was all Valencia in the second half as Alcácer and Parejo each scored a goal once more with defender Shkodran Mustafi putting the icing on the cake at the 79th, so to speak.

Meanwhile, Las Palmas were able to put an end to a five-game winless drought by blanking Real Sociedad, 2-0, at the Estadio Gran Canaria on November 6th to win only their second game of the season, as per SkySports.

Midfielder Jonathan Viera and forward Sergio Araujo provided the goals for Quique Setien's side at the 28th and 51st minutes respectively.

Els Taronges is predicted to rout Los Amarillos in this match and barring any unforeseen incidents, it looks like Coach Nuno will win his third straight game, easing the recent talks of his sacking this season.

The prediction is a 3-1 triumph for Valencia over Las Palmas.
