Jena Malone has used a stunt head in Francis Lawrence's upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2."
Malone is set to reprise her role as a bald-headed Johanna Mason in Lawrence's "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2." In her interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress was sporting a full head of hair. Malone said that there had been a woman that also had had a bald head that had been brought in to also shoot some of her sequences.
Malone confirmed that she had had a stunt head, which she had viewed as incredible. The actress believed that her double already had had a shaved head, which she was hoping.
According to Cinema Blend, Malone had also fitted a bald cap that had tracking markers as a means of making her appear bald, in addition to the stunt head. The cap had let her head to be modified digitally to appear shaven while her hair had been stuffed beneath it.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" is the final film of the famous young adult saga. Aside from Malone, the film also stars Sam Clafflin, Evan Ross, Natalie Dorner, Elizabeth Banks, Gwendoline Christie, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Willow Shields, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence as the Mockingjay, among others.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -Part 2" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Nov. 20 while Tyldum's "Passengers" hits theaters on Dec. 21, 2016. Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" is set to premiere on May 5, 2017 while Marvel's "Captain Marvel" hits theaters on Mar. 8, 2019. Meanwhile, Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" premieres on May 27, 2016.
