The creator of "Game of War," "Machine Zone," has officially announced the opening of the newest addition to their workforce, a team known as "Epic War."
This new team has recently held a worldwide release for its first video game: "Mobile Strike." This video game has a multiplayer strategy feature that resembles "Game of War," with Arnold Schwarzenegger starring as the lead character.
"The Terminator" is featured in the promotional materials and artwork for the new generation warfare game, which has been undergoing tests for a few months prior to its release scheduled this week, reported VentureBeat.
Creating another studio enables "Machine Zone" to sustain the volume of resource devoted to its most lucrative flagship title, "Game of War."
Machine Zone co-founder and CEO Gabe Leydon said, "The new studio will allow us to maintain the existing, dedicated resources to Game of War and in fact, we intend to grow the GOW-focused engineering and customer service teams. We are constantly striving to improve the game experience for our passionate and loyal players," according to the same report by VentureBeat. Leydon also mentioned in the same statement how they are all excited to have the action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger as their "partner and personification of the game."
Schwarzenegger will be joining a roster of celebrities that Machine Zone has brought into play for its mobile games. Before Mobile Strike, the company has also ran a popular "Game of War" TV promotion starring fashion model and actress Kate Upton, prior to replacing her with famous singer, Mariah Carey, DevelopOnline reported.
