The Samsung Galaxy devices might soon be getting the much awaited Android Marshmallow update. A leaked road map revealed the roll out status for these devices.
Most of the Samsung Galaxy devices are eligible to receive this update, but Samsung is yet to release the official roll out time frame, according to Phone Arena.
It is rumored that Samsung will be releasing the Android Marshmallow update in phases for the Galaxy smart phones. The first phase of the roll out will include the high end flag ship Galaxy devices such as S6 Edge+, Note 5, Note 4, S6, Note Edge, S6 Edge, S5 and also Galaxy Alpha, according to Times News.
It is also rumored that while most of these devices are in the confirmed list, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha are still waiting for the approval of this roll out.
It is further speculated that the roll out of the Android Marshmallow update will start with Samsung Galaxy Note 5 along with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. It is expected to start sometime in the month of December this year.
As for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the update is expected to be released in January 2016. In addition, the roll out for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note edge is expected to take place in February.
The second phase of the Android Marshmallow roll out is will be done for Samsung Galaxy A and Samsung Galaxy E series. It will include Samsung Galaxy A8, A5, A7, E7, A3, and also E5.
Samsung is yet to reveal the official list of Galaxy devices which can expect the update in the near future.
