Has the "Bleach" manga gone on for too long? The Bleach manga was rumored to end on 2015 but with less than eight weeks to go in 2015 that "deadline" may not be met.
Still, the rumors persist and the predictions for the next chapter have that context in mind. Mangahelpers user 'FetherMan' stated:
"In case you forgot, this is the final story arc and Kubo is using his opportunities to showcase any characters and their abilities that haven't been explored yet. Nanao and Nemu as well as Shunsui's Bankai were done accordingly for the sake of the current story."
The idea is that just like the previous battle between Mayuri and Pernida, a female sidekick stepped up to help. The contention is that the outcome might be different this time with victory for Nanao.
However, Nemu did beat Pernida even if it's a Pyrrhic victory and she lost her life because of it.
Henry Ma of Kaleo.org is not so sure as Manga creator Tite Kubo has been very unpredictable and it's all about the sword. "Being that the sword is uniquely shaped, it is safe to say it has a unique power to it which can either seal away or severely hurt Barro in some sort of way."
Nanao is inexperienced in battle compared to Nemu "but you'll never know what might happen, as I certainly never expected Nemu to go full Super Saiyan on Pernida."
On the Bleach Reddit page, fans share that they would be disappointed if Kubo just brings a sword capable of killing gods from out of nowhere. It seems like a "cop out" so user Eadeve said:
"Here is what I'm hoping: -The sword doesn't exactly kill a god, but rather disperses it and forces it to take a mortal vessel. Probably a male, considering the lack of males nanao's family and hence would explain the lack of males and the "curse". -Lilie fights for control of Shunsui's body while Nanao is forced to kill him. Or she transfers lilie into herself and kills herself."
Which prediction will hold true on Bleach 652?
