The release of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" has been postponed to Aug. 23, 2016, which was originally slated for a Feb. 23 release. Eidos Montreal, a subsidiary of Square Enix in Canada, says it is an upcoming cyberpunk themed action-RPG with its expected release six months later.
As reported in their official blog site, Head of Studio David Anfossi reasoned out the post production for iterations, refinement, and tuning are behind the delay. It aims to meet expectations of many avid fans, making the developer push the game's release further in 2016. They simply want "Dues Ex: Mankind Divided" meet the highest standards.
Anfossi apologized for such disappointment that this news had brought to excited fans. He gratified avid fans however for all their support and appeals to be more tolerant on its release. He insisted that the publisher didn't want to compromise the quality of the game.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is actually the second game originally meant to be launched this Feb. 23; however, it has been pushed out of the slot. The first of the three games, "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" shares the day of the delay, which should now be out by May 24, 2016.
Out of the original three, "Far Cry Primal" is the only title that will still be scheduled for the February release.
Only last April this year did this game announced for release. It is an immediate sequel to 2011's "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," and is set two years apart after all the events. The latest game version intends to feature the return of Adam Jensen, who is working with a global alliance to exterminate terrorist attacks with the assistance of most recent technology and body augmentations.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will hit stores soon next year for PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Its release may take a while, but let's see how time flies.
