Adele's highly anticipated album "25" is finally out. It is the singer's first batch of new songs since 2011′s smash hit album "21."
The album has 11 songs which are a mix of ballads and midtempo pop songs. Most of the tracks are dominated by a single acoustic instrument and her powerful, signature voice.
Since the album is not available on any of the streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, the label has arranged a supply of almost 3.6 million physical copies to satiate the singer's fan base.
While the fans are still getting a grip of the new music, the critics have spoken highly of the new album. While most of the critics pointed out that Adele's music needs time to reveal its true depth, the album has been forecasted to become the biggest-selling record in some time.
"25" will easily beat Adele's earlier work "21" and "19," according to ABC News. However, most of the tracks in the newly released album sounds quite close to its predecessor as most of the tracks are still about the heartbreak that triggered "21."
It is only in the final song "Sweetest Devotion," in which she sounds uncharacteristically optimistic and seemingly ready to move on as she celebrates a new relationship.
However, some critics also pointed out that Adele's new music has nothing new to offer and sticks to a tried and tested formula centered on piano ballads and churchy hymns, Chicago Tribune reported.
Although "Hello" was chosen as the lead single of the album, it is "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" that is a more upbeat and poppy.
