Ford announces the launch of Escape SUV 2017 with a complete new look and improved tech features.
Researches and figures reveal that the segment of compact SUV is much in demand and most prevalently used in the United States, as this is meant to make the daily driving convenient, stylish and cost-effective at the same time.
The recently unveiled SUV, which boasts of edgier and rugged looks, is said to be launched on 2017. The fascia features are redesigned and have a raised trapezoidal grille attached with horizontal bars. The wheels of the vehicle are re-designed with improved LED tail lamps.
The vehicle will be equipped and powered with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine, which majorly produces 168 horsepower. Along with this, Ford will also add a couple of efficient engines, called ecoboost engine, to the lineup.
The new engine would be designed following the latest improved technology and would have the auto start stop features. It is said that the engine recognizes when the vehicle is idle during heavy traffic jams and automatically switches off, in which, facilitates in saving fuel to a certain extent.
As per reports, the vehicle would have a powerful six-speed automatic transmission which adds a lot of power to the vehicle. The Titanium trims and SE are equipped with paddle-shift technology which adds to the convenience of the users. There is also an adaptive cruise control and the special feature of forward collision warning with brake support to prevent accidents.
