"Legends of Tomorrow" will feature a new trailer, a release date and possible DC characters Arsenal, Jonah Hex and Connor Hawke appearing in the show.
CW Network has just streamed the first full length trailer for "Legends of Tomorrow" and fans will witness how Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) took over the world and its up Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to assemble a rag tag group of heroes and villains to stop him from destroying time and prevent the apocalyptic future under his rule. Hunter's team will consist of Ray Palmer/The Atom(Brandon Routh), Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz), Jax Jackson and Prof. Martin Stein/Firestorm (Franz Drameh and Victor Garber), Carter Hall/Hawkman ( Falk Hentschel), Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Mick Rory/Heatwave (Dominic Purcell).
Th trailer also feature Rip Hunter's ship, a lot of time travel, action-packed fight scenes and internal conflicts among team members as the team will also worry about the consequences of changing something in the past due to their individual needs. Fans were also astonished by the Batman and Superman reference within the trailer hinting that both the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel exist within DC Television Universe.
Executive Producer Greg Berlanti confirmed that the premiere date for "Legends of Tomorrow" will be on Jan. 21, 2016 during a interview session with the Paley Center, ComicBook reported.
Aside from the new trailer and launch date, other DC characters are also rumored to appear in "Legends of Tomorrow".
One these characters is the disfigured bounty hunter Jonah Hex due to his connection with time travel and Vandal Savage within the comics, Moviepilot reported. It is theorized that he will be abducted by Vandal Savage in the show and is sent to hunt down Rip Hunter and the team
Aside from Jonah Hex, "Arrow" star Colton Haynes teased that Roy Harper/Arsenal could appear in "Legends of Tomorrow" during the panel discussion at the AsiaPop Comic Con event in Manila, Philippines several months ago.
Oliver Queen's son Connor Hawke is speculated to appear in the spin-off due to Warner Bros. announcement of a casting call with the description of a biracial or black male, who was once a hero and has gone missing.
Other rumored characters within show include Killer Frost, Scandal Savage, Hath-Set, Shadow Thief, Katana, Blue Beetle, Doctor Fate and many more.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere on Jan. 21, 2016 on the CW Network.
