New details for "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" in the PC will have its full system requirements, official launch date and Aerith's outfit not included in the game.
Square Enix last installment of the "Final Fantasy XIII" game series will be released on Dec. 10 for PC platform via Steam engine. Previous titles such as "Final Fantasy XIII" and Final Fantasy XIII-2" were released last year for the PC version as it suppose to be a complete set, but Square Enix made the announcement that the PC version for "Lightnng Returns" will be moved sometime this year, PC Gamer reported.
Aside from the the PC release date, Square Enix has also revealed the full system requirements for "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" for the PC platform. The minimum requirements include a Windows® XP SP2 or a better version of the OS, a dual core CPU of 2GHz, NVIDIA Geforce 8800GT / ATI Radeon HD 4770 VRAM 512MB or a better version for graphics, a DirectX version 9.0c, 22GB of hard drive space and a sound card compatible with the DirectX version 9.0c.
As for the recommended specs, the OS requires a Windows Vista, 7 or 8 versions, an Intel Core 2 Quad processor at 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 at 2.8 GHz, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460/ ATI Radeon HD 5770 for graphics, 22GB for the hard drive, a DirectX version 9.0c and a sound card compatible with it.
"Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" will include all of game's DLC from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. However, one piece of equipment will not be available within the PC version as the Aerith Gainsborough schema will not be available in the game, Siliconera reported.
Aerith's outfit was available in the console versions as gamers can gain access to the schema when they buy the game's guide book in Japan or download it in the PlayStation store for $3.99.
The following schemas included in the PC version are the "Divine Wear", "Moogle Lover", "Ultimate Saviour", "Cloud", "Yuna", "Tomb Raider", "Shining Prince", "Dark Samurai", "Sohei Savior", "Utsusemi", "Art of War", "Flower of Battle" and "Shogun".
In addition, bonus items tied from the save data from previous games will be provided to players, even if they do not have any save data from it.
"Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" will be available on Dec. 10 for the PC platform.
