"X Factor" Australia season 7 grand finalist Cyrus Villanueva is definitely one of the fan favorites. The Filipino-Australian singer may not have won just yet but it seems like he has already captured the hearts of several of his fans.
In an interview with Yahoo7 Entertainment, Villanueva revealed that he is single and not seeing anybody at the moment.
"I am single but I'm kind of just focusing on the music," he said.
Villanueva, however, added that when the competition wraps up, he may consider starting dating again.
As the grand finals of "X Factor" Australia nears, the 19-year-old singer shared that it was a bittersweet experience, especially since they have all gotten close. He added that his bromance with Big T is "still going strong," even after the latter was eliminated.
Earlier this week, Villanueva along with his mentor Chris Isaak, visited his hometown in Wollongong. This is part of the reality competition's hometown trip to give fans a glimpse of the contestant's life before joining "X Factor."
According to International Business Times, the concert was attended by a "massive" crowd with even mayor Gordon Bradbery in attendance. The outlet held that Bradbery had nothing but praises for Villanueva. He said that apart from being a good looking guy, he was also a well rounded individual.
New Day Church ministry senior minister Frank Gottle also spoke highly of the Fi-Aussie singer. He said that Villanueva has always been a man of integrity ever since he first met him, when the singer was just eight years old. He added that he has always been "incredibly humble and extremely competent."
